The Centre for Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy at K.U.Leuven’s Institute of Philosophy seeks applicants for two fully funded four-year PhD-fellowships in Political Philosophy. The project for which the funding is available, entitled ‘Federalism, Nationality and Justice’, aims to develop a normative political theory of federalism. In particular, we are interested in federalism as a political system to accommodate multiple national cultures within one political community, both in multinational states and in the transnational realm. We are also interested in the history of federal political theory.
