AHRC Centre for the Evolution of Cultural Diversity (CECD) - Bursaries for Visitors - Deadline 14th May 2010

AHRC Centre for the Evolution of Cultural Diversity is pleased to invite applications for one or more bursary awards to cover all or part of the costs of a visit to the Centre during calendar year 2010.

Candidate Criteria
. Applicants can be of any nationality and based in any country but must either be enrolled for a postgraduate research degree, or already have a Ph.D. Any relevant discipline will be considered.

Application Assessment
. Applications will be assessed on academic merit and on relevance to the CECD mission. We are particularly interested in applications from visitors who want to explore collaborative research topics with CECD investigators.

Other Conditions
The successful applicant will be expected to:
. Stay at the Centre for a minimum of two weeks . If time allows, give a research seminar during their visit . Submit a brief final report summarizing the academic outcomes of the visit

Application Deadline
. The deadline for applications is Friday 14th May 2010.

Notification of Results
All candidates will be notified by e-mail regarding the outcome of their application, within two weeks of the closing date for applications.

Successful candidates will also be notified by letter.
