I am writing to inform you that the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy is currently accepting applications to the May Session of the ICD Academy for Cultural Diplomacy. This session will look at the history and development of the field of cultural diplomacy, as well as its contemporary application by different actors across the world. The program will take place from 10th – 14th May 2010 in Berlin, and will bring together a diverse range of participants – including students, young professionals, and civil society practitioners, from across the world.



Speakers during the last Academy Session included Michael Pistecky (Press Attache of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Berlin), Peter Craven (Political Moderator for Deutsche Welle TV), Karl-Erik Norrman (Former Head of Cultural Affairs at the Swedish Foreign Ministry), Tilmann Santarius (Director of International Climate and Energy Policy at the Heinrich Böll Stiftung), and Larissa Israel (Program Director for the Berlin Philharmonic Education Department).
