We want to invite you to visit and contribute with bifurcaciones, an online journal dedicated to urban cultural studies. Our main intention is to research and discuss the relationship between the city and it's inhabitants. We publish original papers; cinema, music and book reviews; interviews; critical biographies; classical essays; audiovisual essays; street photography portfolios, and urban chronicles. Our first number went online on december 2004, and since then we have published over 150 works, from authors all over the world. Bifurcaciones is today one of the most read journals in the world edited in Spanish, as each one of our issues is accessed by over 400,000 readers, from almost 110 countries.
