Neviete ako to je v UK s uznavanim nasich titulov? Resp. co musim spravit aby mi v UK uznali nase vysokoskolske vzdelanie? Lebo ekvivalent naseho Ing. by mal byt MSI, alebo MBA a zevraj Ing. je v UK uplne cosi ine. Tak ked sa budem uchdzat o miesto len si prepisem Ing na MBA a ukazem im prelozeny diplom do anglictiny, alebo nieco special k tomu vybavit? Diki za rady...

    ja len doplnim Misa, zavisi aj od skoly - moj Ing. je napriklad uznavany ako MEng., nedava to velky zmysel ale pri hladani prace to pomohlo. (a v mojej praci si vyslovene ziadali slovensky diplom a nechali si to sami prelozit a overit, predpokladam ze kontaktovali aj skolu)

    smola je, ze mi Ing. uznali ako BSc. iba, tak to radsej ani pri hladani prace nepouzivam.

    Ing je MSc. Toto som dnes odosielal do agentury, ktora mi riesi job spolu s kopiou diplomu a jeho anglickou kopiou uradne overenou. Ospravedlnujem sa za moju biednu essex anglictinu, pisal som to o 3 rano uplne vycistena hlava :)

    Just a few notes to my MSc degree - In most countries of Central Europe, universities specializing in technical and economic studies have awarded their students an engineer's degree (abbreviation is Ing.) instead of a master's degree. Just to avoid confusion from UK understanding of engineer (non-postgraduate studies award or profession of engineer), this originates in German influence on higher education in Central and Eastern Europe. Engineer's degree is equivalent to UK Master's degree (MSc).

    MSc Transport Management I used in my CV is only unofficial translation of "prevadzka a ekonomika dopravy" (Operation and Economics of Transport) to refer on economic background of my university study rather than word for word translation which can make false effect of technical nature of my study.
