Dear All,

UH Fest 2007 will stage 40-45 acts from 10-13 countries during four days. All the events will take place at one venue, Merlin theatre at the heart of the city. You will find more on the festival at www.fest.uh.hu

In the framework of our next festival we will present a new form of cultural expression called SHARE, which is dedicated to fostering live, open/free and spontaneous collaborations between audio/video artists, narrow the gap between artists and audience, thus promote participation.


With the help of SHARE activists from New York and Montreal we conduct a weeklong series of workshops teaching an overview of the skills needed to run a SHARE event. During the workshop we will invite and train 25 activists from neighbouring countries.

Thanks to the support of International Visegrad Fund Ultrasound Foundation can invite interested participants (technicians, musicians, sound and video artists, promoters, culture activists) from Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland for a weeklong stay in Budapest between 19-25 of March, 2007.

3 or 4 participants will be selected from each country.


Participants (technicians, musicians, sound and video artists, promoters, culture activists) will be selected with the help of an application.


Ultrasound Foundation will cover travel expenses, will ensure hostel accommodation close to the festival/SHARE venue and food for the selected participants, plus provide free festival pass to all concerts and events during the festival days between 22-25 of March, 2007.
