but since we say there is love and so many feelings, it is ok,

i would say yes, it is joy and pain at the same time,

i see myself this way,, but,
going deeper, deviding the word love and its sense into more detailed
structures,, i would say that the word love becomes obsolete,
highly inaccurate,,, and such truth(as i see it) may be
pretty much destructive for someone whose life goal is love,
to feel it, die for it,,, and when this occures,,
most of the mashine's vital subsystems (the human body, soul and whatever else)
have no reasons to continue life,, but, this is just a state of mind,
and drastic redefinning of oneself solves this problem,, :D
(just to choose the reasons :) )
(yes, i can redefine myself, i can switch feelings on and off,
i can choose to feel love, or not,, i dont mind,, there is more
than love :) ))

one thing i see about love is the data transfer betweem two beings,,
once i have the neccessary data i was looking for then the
feeling (part of it, very strong part) flows away,,

another thing about love program is to ensure survival of human race,
yes, it feels gorgeous,, and therefore we prise it high,,
but it is "just an abuse" of human interface :)
to obey every rational thinking not to do this and that :)
