The main takeaway is that this is the client-side code for the Claude Code CLI, not the actual model weights or backend secret sauce. So no, you can't run your own private Opus 4.5 just yet

Sorry to break the bubble, but this has happened multiple times. Initially when it was launched this had happened with Claude w the same route. I am sure they are aware about it.

Not just that, the binary is just just bundled JavaScript — it was always trivially reversible with or without a source map. I had Claude crack it open a while back and extract the system prompt because I was curious.
