I was on the M15, going uptown. The bus pulled up to the stop, and I looked out the window and there you were.
I started waving right away. Just full-on waving. And nothing. You didn’t even look up.
Yeah, I waved like three, four times. I thought maybe you were about to look up, but then.. nope.
You were just sitting there, focused on your phone or something.
I was literally right there. Right across from you. On the bus. Window seat. I had a clear view.
It was 100% you. White shirt, just hanging out. And I was like, that’s definitely Jim.
I kept waving, kind of laughing to myself.
It really caught me off guard. I didn’t expect to see you. I wasn’t looking for you. I was just on the bus, and there you were.
I thought, like, what are the chances? That the bus would stop right there at the exact moment you’re sitting there, and I’d see you.
And you didn’t see me at all? Not even a little glance?
Yeah I know, you didn't see me, but I did see you. It was you, I knew it was you!
And then the bus started rolling again, and I was like, well, okay, that was definately Jim, let's give him a call.
