This is the prototype of a digital edition of Cäsar Flaischlen’s Graphische Litteratur-Tafel. The giant flowchart of German literature was published in 1890 and is an early approach to visualise the historical development of literature.

The chart was transcribed in XML format following the TEI Guidelines. The website merges the tripartite graphic table into a single stream. A list of all mentioned authors can be accessed via an index. We also digitised Flaischlen's preface.
