(3) I would strongly advise people not to purchase N95 respirators. Except for people with unique immune and/or lung diseases, the likelihood of infection and consequences of infection are not large enough to merit their use in anyone other than healthcare workers, especially when combined with the data (from healthcare facilities) that indicates real-world efficacy approximates surgical masks. (N95 respirators are really uncomfortable to wear - sweaty and suffocating - for anything more than 10-15 minutes).
