and cloudless skies
moon came with evil intent

On the same night and over the coming days
when the moon appears darkest
Red planet and blood moon pair up
in blanket of grey
one nested inside the other

this beautiful bright red star
As it rises with a slight orange hue
drinking the elixir of immortality

Thunderstorms prevent skygazers
from seeing this procession of planets
and clouds obscured the views for many
We are in trouble! oh my!
