Hello! Today’s the day to break the silence! MATMOS will release a new album, titled “Ultimate Care II” on Thrill Jockey records in February of 2016 on vinyl and CD and in digital permutations. All sounds on this record were generated by the Ultimate Care II washing machine in the basement of our home in Baltimore. (No, really, we mean it: ALL of the sounds.) You can hear an excerpt here
