The Room fans watched the Golden Globes in awe as James Franco brought things full circle for Tommy Wiseau who came on stage during his emotional speech after winning Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical for The Disaster Artist.

Franco directed the film which saw him play the filmmaker of what is considered to be one of the worst films of all time, The Room. "First person I have to thank is the man himself, Tommy Wiseau," the actor said before inviting him onto the stage.

Viewers were up in arms as Franco blocked Wiseau from grabbing the microphone, instead opting to tell Wiseau's story himself.
