SPECIALIZATION GLOBAL AFFAIRS
The Changing Global Order has now closed, and the next part of the specialization is Configuring the World, focusing on critical data analysis in global Political Economy. SHARIA IN THE WEST
The successful free SPOC (Small Private Online Course) at Master level “Sharia in the West” by prof M. Berger at Leiden University will re-run this fall with new features like a documentary as research project. The participants from abroad who have at least a Bachelor degree can apply until 24 August 2014, and will be selected in the following week. The 13-week course will start on 11 September 2014. WHEELS OF METAL
This is a course by dr Ester van der Voet aimed at people interested in urban mining and the circular economy. Why are metals important and how can we assure that there will be enough metals in our future through substantial recycling? We are working together with UNEP and such instructors as Thomas Graedel, Eric Offermans and Markus Reuter. You can sign up here. There is also a Facebookgroup.
