The first generation Kindle can read only unprotected Mobipocket files (MOBI, PRC), plain text files (TXT), Topaz format books (TPZ), and Amazon's AZW format.

The fourth/fifth generation Kindles, Kindle Touch, Kindle Touch 3G, and Kindle Paperwhite can display AZW, TXT, PDF, unprotected MOBI, and PRC files natively. HTML, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP are usable through conversion. The Touch and Touch 3G can also play Audible Enhanced (AA, AAX) and MP3 files.[105] Amazon indicated in 2012 that the fourth generation Kindles will be updated to support the KF8 format

Myslim, ze to musis najprv skonvertovat. Bud si stiahni calibre a zkonvertuj to v tom alebo si ten dokument posli na email, na ktory mas registrovany kindle, amazon ti to zkonvertuje. Pripadne vyskusaj rovno to nahrat do Kindle, mozno to uz pojde aj bez konverzie.

calibre nema plugin pre doc ale pre docx ma. takze treba otvorit doc v novsom office, ulozit ako docx a konvertovat

.doc uplne fici, amazon robi free autokonverziu do .azw. Ked si sa regla dostala si nejaku mailovu adresu, napr lila@kindle.com. Ked mas .doc a chces ho do kindle, tak si ho skratka posles mailom na lila@free.kindle.com a do subjectu das "convert". Potom uz len o nejaku minutku zapnes wifi a mas knizku tam. Nic viac s tym nie je treba robit. Takto to fici so vsetkymi vecami okrem .pdb tusim. To treba riesit cez calibre.
