Brooke Candy

Brooke Dyan Candy (born July 20, 1989)[1] is an American rapper and stripper.[2] She is best known for co-starring in the music video for Grimes' single "Genesis" and [3][4] for her music video for "Das Me" in 2012.[5]

Candy was born in Oxnard, California but she grew up in Oak Park, California, an upper middle class suburb of Los Angeles.[citation needed] Her father worked behind the scenes for Hustler magazine to which she attributes her over-sexualized style.[6]

Candy's fashion has been described as a distinctive stripper-meets-Tumblr aesthetic.[7] She often collaborates with fashion designer Seth Pratt.[8]
