ARSENE WENGER’S call for his team to fight for the title was taken literally, as Robin van Persie and Abou Diaby had a bust-up.

Diaby had helped Arsenal take a two goal lead into half-time against Blackpool on Sunday, but Van Persie was furious that he had been booked for kicking the ball away.

Van Persie rounded on Diaby in the dressing room, shouting that the booking was stupid and reminding him of the needless red card he was shown at Newcastle for retaliation, which contributed to the Gunners throwing away a four-goal lead.
