Cauko, je mozne pouzit IPSEC ako VPN pre mobilnych klientov? Predstavujem si pod tym to, ze klient po pripojeni dostane z DHCP servervu za VPN serverom IP adresu a routy do subnetov (kvoli split tunnelingu). Mate s tym niekto skusenost?

Cisco alebo Fortinet to riesia vlastnymi implementaciami v klientskej casti aplikacie pre VPN, existuje free implementacia ktora dokaze aspon nastavit routy u klienta?

Jasne, ze mozes... len treba pamatat na to, ze klasicky IPSec nefici spoza NAT-u.. t.j. mobilny klient musi mat verejnu IP, alebo treba pouzit rozne ofajce... Btw L2TP pouziva IPSec na kryptovanie, kedze sam o sebe nekryptuje.

mobilny klient = uzivatel, nie server, teda vacsinou notebook / mobil na ktorom nie je ziaduce aby mal definovane persistente routy alebo aby ich musel pridavat skriptom, rucne alebo politikou.

update: cielom je pouzit vpn klienta v OS (windows, mac, linux) bez nutnosti instalovat dalsi software (pripad OpenVPN) s konfigurakmi a certifikatmi. Vacsina ak nie vsetky os zvycajne by default podporuju PPTP, L2TP a IPSEC.
