Anaconda (Tribal Guarachero Mix) / Pulso

This one's been brewing for a while, and it seems like we've had a barrage of emails about it almost daily for weeks - so here it finally is, the Tribal Guarachero refit of Untold's mighty 'Anaconda', backed with the sheer headf*ck of 'Pulso' from Dubbel Dutch. The shadowy SSSSS label have prepared themselves well for the inevitable "WTF?!?" faces that the 'Anaconda' remix will cause by keeping themselves well and truly out of reach - we really have no idea who's behind the label nor where they're from - but if you're asking us to explain the hows and whys - we just don't know! It's apparently the work of some mysterious producer, augmenting the original in line with an emergent Mexican style defined by the track's clomping kicks and triplet fills. The closest rhythmic comparisons we could make are Ramadanman's 'Pitter' or Plastikman's 'Slinky', but we urge you to find out for yourselves - it's surely one of the years biggest productions. On the flip, Dubbel Dutch drops 'Pulso', sounding like a skewed remake of 'Pulse X' and again with some proper hip-configuring 3/4 time signatures. This is where the dance is at right now, and we can only try to keep up. Oh aye, and for the aesthetes, the sleeve is next level. ESSENTIAL!!!!!!
