The Eye-Fi Card WILL NOT work in a 7D. The Pro X2 + a CF adapter, will not work in Canon bodies. The older generation Eye-Fi Cards will work inside CF adapters, but CF adapters are totally unsupported by us. They can cause file corruption with the older generation Eye-Fi Cards, and your Wi-Fi range will be reduced.
If you're using Eye-Fi Cards in SD/SDHC slots -- AWESOME. That's what they're intended for.

Only the Pro X2 supports ad-hoc.
