Pioneering South-Pacific label Sub Continental Dub presents two fresh cuts from Deepchild. Conceived on his recent US/UK tour, these fresh tracks take us on a trip in an abstract, futurist dubby tech house direction while retaining that dance floor goodness he is so famous for. Deepchild has performed alongside Konrad Black, Stacey Pullen and Jeff Mills and shared the auspicious EXIT Festival’s Dance Arena stage with Richie Hawtin and Trentemoller. He has also completed remixes for New Order and Booka Shade. Deepchild releases and remixes can be found on labels including Trapez, Resopal Schallware, AFFIN, Anabatic Records, Freerange Records, Om Records, BEEF Records, Get Physical Music and Breakout Audio.

Shameless In Seattle, the biggest release from this Australian label to date, includes remixes from Glasgow’s Gravious (Hotflush, Scuba, Highpoint Lowlife) and Sydney’s Westernsynthetics (Sub Continental Dub, Foreign Dub, The Frequency Lab).

Scotland’s Gravious is a pioneer of the Dubstep sound. He is a big player in the UK scene and has received spins on BBC Radio 1. He has played alongside Kode9, DJ Distance and Scuba.

Westernsynthetics is the founder of the Sub Continental Dub label, has completed remixes for Australian bands The Herd and The Bird and has been nominated in the 2009 Australian Songwriter of the Year Awards for his track Engine no. 999.

Deepchild’s Shameless In Seattle release is set for worldwide release November 20th 2009. It is available physically and digitally. Mastered by Australia’s finest mastering engineer Tony “Jack The Bear” Mantz. Distributed internationally by Straight Distribution Stuttgart Germany.
