Next month sees Amy’s first show of the year when she plays Island Records 50 Year celebrations, and since getting back from St Lucia Amy has been throwing herself back into the music scene. Earlier this week she joined a host of fans and industry insiders for a special Bat For Lashes gig at London’s Hard Rock Café where Amy enjoyed the show and spoke about her forthcoming gig, where she announced she could be showcasing some brand new tracks at the Shepherds Bush Empire show on May 31.

Work on Amy’s new third album is well and truly underway. Having reacquainted herself with the London scene Amy yesterday headed back to St Lucia for recording where she’ll once again team up with producer Salaam Remi with whom she made her groundbreaking album ‘Frank’.
