Mark Ronson has dismissed stories that he fell out with Amy Winehouse over their abandoned James Bond theme.

Several reports suggested that sessions for the track were abandoned because the pair's relationship broke down.

However, the much sough-after producer has maintained that he and Amy are still on friendly terms, claiming that they are working together on a song for Quincy Jones.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Ronson said: "We're trying to get this song done for the Quincy Jones record. It's a cover of You Don't Own Me by Lesley Gore."

He went on to say that he has not seen Amy for a while as he has not been in the UK, but added that she is "a really good friend".

Ronson is currently finishing production duties on the RUMBLE STRIP'S new album and plans to work with GUNS N ROSES legend SLASH on his forthcoming solo record in February.
