While Amy Winehouse remains hospitalized after fainting at her home earlier this week, doctors have reportedly given Amy an ultimatum: quit drugs or die.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "She might have escaped this time, but eventually she won't get up again. The only thing to stop that happening is if she quits drugs."

Wino's doctors said her fainting could be linked to her massive overdose last summer. She's being advised to take some time off performing and lay off the drugs and booze. Technically she hasn't been able to put on a decent performance for a year now so taking some time off isn't looking all that bad. Lets hope Amy finally gets the wake up call she desperately needs.

Amy Being Forced To Stay In The Hospital

Finally someone is taking some initiative with Amy's health! She's still in the hospital, and the Sun is reporting that her family plans on keeping her there until she is able to live without drugs.

Of course, they can't force her there legally, but sources close to the Winehouse family say they plan on taking it to the court if she leaves. It's about time!

If Amy hadn't fainted the other day, we wonder how much longer the fam would have held out on getting her treatment.
