mam ubuntu 8.04 na laptope acer (vid lspci dole) a problemy s wifi.
po instale nerozpoznal wifi cartu (atheros, vid nizsie), tak som skompiloval nejaky patch z madwifi (uz si presne nepamatam link) a nejaky cas slapala v pohode.

Potom ale wireless connection zmizlo (nepamatam si ci som predtym na nieco klikal ale asi nie). Ked som skusal nejake jednoduche tipy podla tohto navodu: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=279212 s vymazanim obsahu /etc/network/interfaces tak nepomohli, zato som si vyskusal funkcnost gnome failsafe mode a nepochopil pracu s NetworkManagerom, chichi. :)

Tento riadok "wifi%d: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware revision not supported' (HAL status 13)" som zhruba rozpoznal ako klucovy do slovosled do googla, ale neprinieslo mi to vysledok (nie som moc experienced linuxak).
Any ide niekto co s tym? Ten proprietary driver tam ostal podla vsetkeho v uzivani. Mam ho skusit preinstalovat, alebo mohol by tomu in your honest opinion pomoct aspon (dalsi) reinstall ak uz nic ine, alebo zbytocna namaha?
