ETO'O NO GO FOR SPURS

Tottenham are facing a major battle to convince Samuel Eto'o to move to White Hart Lane - because he would rather sign for Arsenal.

Eto'o is completely against moving to a side who will not be playing Champions League football next season.

At 27 the Barcelona striker is in his prime and will hold out for a move to a team who will be playing in Europe's top competition next year.

Barcelona have slapped a £30million price tag on him as they make him part of a massive clear-out at the Nou Camp. But the biggest barrier for Spurs - who seem likely to lose Dimitar Berbatov in the next few weeks - will be the player's reluctance to make a swift exit from Barcelona.
