"Fluxus people created a new form of internationalism.. Before Fluxus existed you had Schools.. located in specific geographical centers.. with Fluxus you had for the first time an international situation.. it was individuals spread out all over the world. The artists never needed to move to the same city.. For the first time in history we as artists were able to stay in contact, work, exchange and develop our ideas even if we were living far from each other. For the first time an international network was built up by artists themselves."
