Samppa is the founder and frontman of the freakshow group Psycho Cyborgs. He and Baawo the Chainsaw are the original members, although there are many different artists who perform alongside them. In 2006, Psycho Cyborgs joined Ginger & The Sonic Circus after their successful performance at Download. Their futuristic style shows include hardcore performances, mostly involving power tools and flesh. Samppa's most popular trick is his belly skewering. It is thought that he is the first to perform such a trick on stage in the Western world.
