You just know these are going to disappear like gold dust - the long awaited release of two of the most sought after Boxcutter dubplates - Brood VIP and "November" pressed up on one strictly limited white label for Hotflush offshoot ABUCS. If the towering brilliance of the original wasn't quite enough for you, the VIP mix of Brood is just immense, all tumbling breaks and hollowed-out synths that make for a terrifying fusion of Hardcore and dubstep - dark and relentless stuff, but then you already knew that right? "November" on the flip is something else entirely, echo-chamber dub of the highest order without even a trace of gnarly production or formulaic progression, there's even a treated flute buried into the nether regions of the mix and the end result is so far removed from the dubstep template that you'll find this played out at the finest soundsystems deep into the night.
