Contacted Dell support tonight and got the following answer:

"Please try uninstalling the OpenManage software on the system. This should resolve the error. If you plan to us the OpenManage software, you can reinstall it at this time. You can download it from http://support.dell.com . However, if you do not plan on using the software there is no need to reinstall it. If you are not familiar with OpenManage and would like to know more about it, you can go to this link: http://www1.us.dell.com/content/topics/global.aspx/solutions/en/OpenManage?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd "
I uninstalled "OMCI" (open management client instrumentation) using the add/remove software control panel and the message is gone. Open Manage is the app that is generating that error message, see the manual.
