I noticed that sometimes the data on the site doesn't update immediately. Is this a bug?
No, this is a feature ;) We have a layer of caching which prevents the website from accessing the database too frequently. Various bits of data shown on the site are cached for periods of time. Data that is more difficult to calculate is cached longer.
