We the people of Karlsoeya want to invite all the people and tribes of the earth to our beautiful island this summer 2006 to exchange wisdom and experience that can ontribute to positive changes in our society.

We want to give man/womankind hope that our dreams and visions help:and that together our collective consciousness motivates us to build a better world. At the same time we want to celebrate

We want people to open their hearts and minds and recognise that life is far too short to focus on our shortcomings. Instead we want to look to the future and work together creating this very future.

Together we can realize that to give and receive love is life's most magnificent gift.

Our common love for "Mother Earth" is reflected in our everyday deeds and doings.

!!! To get to Karlsoya you first have to find Tromso. The biggest city in north-norway and from there you take the road north to Hansnes on the island Ringvassoya. From Hansnes there is daily ferries going to Karloya 2-3 times a day. Karlsoya is a small island with only 50 people living there and there is a small shop and post office and pub
and a couple coummune houses. It is a small island only. From Oslo there is cheap flights this summer for about 50 euros to Tromso. From the Stockholm to Narvik the train is about 35 euroes, and from Narvik to Karlsoya there is about 5 h. Trains and busses in norway, check out http://www.nor-way.no and http://www.nsb.no. (Hitchhicking is very possible!!!) A train ticket inside norway is now 15 euros where ever you go if you buy it one day before. Bodoe is the neerest trainstation and it is about 12 h of driving from Karlsoeya. The camp is on the back side of the island and you can easily go by foot for 20 min to get there from the ferry dock. There is very few roads, when you come from the dock you go left and then left once again by the stage and the school follow the road til the next cross and take left. Continue till after a cemetery and go straight forward 300-400 meters and your there. Island Ask the locals for the camp that lays on the Sandvika (sandybay) The camp is neer the ocean inside the forest.
