Pictures of Rockbox running on the X5

The good people from Rockbox have finally got their alternative firmware project running on the Cowon iAudio X5. The firmware, although not finalized yet, ads support for a whole bunch of features, such as a crossfader, huge codec support, a parametric EQ, ID3 tag browsing and of course games!
The iAudiophile community has already jumped on this firmware and have started creating a bunch of custom WPS (skins/themes) and feedback has been extremely positive. Here are some pictures of the player running Rockbox:
It has only been a few days since Rockbox has been playing sound on the X5, so there are still a lot of things to be taken care of. A "final" release with complete X5 support is planned for November, but this should not stop you from giving this excellent software a go. An install guide can be found here.
