Creative Commons is Broken
The principle problem with Creative Commons is that most of the creative commons content is not actually reuseable at all. The problem is not meta-data because it's not about finding the right license for a specific need, the problem is that vague and unecessary license clauses pollute the license ecosystem creating a huge licensing mess. At the moment there are 18 Creative Commons Licenses that exist in the wild, not counting version changes.
