You know those times where you're just sitting and its like your not even at a place. More like you're watching it from a distance. Those times where you're sitting on a chair waiting for more water so you can continue washing things in the desert and it feels like you're at home waiting to head to the mall, or school, or work.

Those moments like when you're sitting in a chilis in Qatar and they sing happy birthday while you're reading about car bombs going off in Baghdad and you can hear the faint sound of rounds going off outside the wire.

Or those moments when you're sitting on a bench waiting for a bus and the breeze kicks up and you're no longer a day away from heading back to Iraq, but sitting there waiting for a bus with a loved one about to get off after a long seperation.

Cuz they're just one of those things that makes it all worth it. And I'm curious to know what kind other people have. So post some odd times if you have them, and if not try to imagine it. They're great times.
