Härjedalens Fornminnesförening is a non-profit organisation running a museum, Härjedalen Mountain Museum. Today this new museum houses an outstanding exhibition, both in quality and in quantity, showing the lives of the Sami people, the farmers and the miners during the past 1000 years. They also run an outdoor museum, situated next to the new museum, which displays a variety of old traditional log buildings from the region, with exhibitions and activities. During the camp the volunteers will participate in the exhibition about war and peace, in history and today, running in this outdoor museum. Vols will bring the past to life by acting in the environment, creating the illusion of time travel. W: As actors and/or hosts in the historical setting of the exhibition. Some practical pedagogical work, such as cooking in a military kitchen or performing craftsmanship typical for the period, might occur.
