Co este treba je
  • nakonfigurovat XFree86 namiesto Xmacppc, bo Xmacppc podporuje len 8bpp (256farieb).
  • nainstalit dalsie packagy. je tam sice pkgsrc, ale na 266mhz procesore sa do fuckt dlho compiluje. bude dobre asi binarky instalovat


Myslim, ze ten mac ako najviac powerful masina by mohol sluzit ako server pre X terminaly z pomaaalyyych 486iek. Tiez take kraviny ako DHCP by tam bolo dobruo rozbehnut a este... aky rozsah ipeciek mozme pouzivat? bo teraz to tak typujeme a kazdu chvilu dojde niekto, ze sme mu ukradli ipecku :)

no hei, there is bordel with the IPs so we have to make a list
as for this Imac
problem is that this is the only computer in datalab for people to use for reading , browsing a tak
so
1. we have to have on it browser, text editor and image viewer minimally

or

2. we find another computer fulfilling this conditions for datalab, and this one stays like server
