Retro Transistor Radios
1959 Toshiba 'chessboard'- this is an example of Toshiba's amazing designs, and this is a conservative one at that! Some of their sets had lace behind the speaker grille, some had handpainted pictures (the Rice Bowl, for example). Note the clear dial with reverse painted numbers (both on the top and front).
