Uroboros, ako symbol vecneho kolobehu (teda toho isteho, co aj svarga) je dochovany v ovela skorsich tradiciach; napr. dochovane archeologicke nalezy:
- stary Egypt
- obraz vryty na bronzovej nadobe z obdobia cinskej dynastie Čou, cca 1200 p.n.l.
- uroboros a grecky text - "Vesmir je jedno"

No jedine od tych gnostikov, inac sa preferoval tradicny kriz, ryba alebo pentagram. tento hadik je skor aj symbolom reinkarnacie, nepretrzitosti..a vseobecne vzdelani gnostici sa nedali skatulkovat iba do jednej skupiny vyznavajucej trocha ine linie...kludne sa mohli najst jedinci pohravajuci sa s reinkarnaciou, v ktoru btw verim aj ja.

The Ouroboros appears in many other cultures and settings as well...the Serpent Jormungandr of Norse legend, who encircled the world, and guarded Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life, is often depicted as an ouroboros. The Aztec serpent God Queztacoatl was depicted similarly, and Chinese alchemical dragons have both similar shapes and meaning.
