The MPRP and the Motherland-Democracy coalition each have 36 seats in Parliament. According to information released by the GEC on June 28 at 6.00 p.m. , the MPRP and the Motherland-Democracy coalition are expected to share the majority of the 76 seats in Parliament. The remaining 4 seats go to the Republican Party, who won one seat, and three independent candidates. The independent candidates are all former members of the Democratic Party and are expected to support the coalition.
